Biografía
Jessica Ortiz se graduó de Ingeniería Electrónica en Control y Redes Industriales en la Escuela Superior Politécnica de Chimborazo en el año 2013, obtuvo la maestría en Sistemas de Control y Automatización Industrial en el 2016. Actualmente es estudiante de doctorado en Ingeniería Electrónica en la Universidad de Zaragoza - España. Fue docente tiempo completo en la Universidad de las Fuerzas Armadas, Universidad Tecnológica Indoamérica y Universidad Técnica de Ambato. Fue directora del proyecto de investigación "Tecnologías inmersivas multiusuario orientadas a sistemas de enseñanza-aprendizaje sinérgicos", ganador de la XIV convocatoria CEDIA-CEPRA 2020; También participó como investigadora en el proyecto "Control coordinado multi-operador aplicado a un robot manipulador aéreo" en 2017 y en el proyecto "Sistema de riego autónomo aplicado a la agricultura hidropónica" en 2014. Actualmente consta con 41 artículos científicos publicados en bases de datos internacionales. Sus áreas de interés son Sistemas de Control, Automatización, Procesos de Realidad Virtual y Realidad Aumentada, Robótica de Servicios.
